Based on the recommendations of the Provincial Elders Conference as well as other government authorities, the Joint Board has made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel Sunday Services for the next two weeks, March 15 and 22. We believe this is one way we can do our part to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The Boards will reconvene on March 26 to make further decisions about how we will operate as a church. During this time the building will be closed to all meetings and outside groups.
In place of meeting in person, we will be offering a livestream worship service on March 15 and 22 at 10:30 A.M. through the Facebook live platform. In this time of difficulty, we remember that we have Jesus as our anchor and hope. As Hebrews 6:19 declares: “ We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” Let us continue to secure our souls in God and to be His people in whatever ways we can.
