Pastor Garritt Fleming was installed as co-Pastor at Schoeneck Moravian Church in January 2018. Born in Easton, PA, Garritt grew up in the Moravian Church and began to sense a call to ministry during his studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated from in 2011 with a Bachelors in Psychology and concentration in Journalism. In 2015, Garritt graduated with a Masters in Divinity from Moravian Theological Seminary and, following ordination the same year, served as pastor at Freedom Moravian Church in Freedom, WI, from 2015-2017. Garritt is blessed to serve in ministry for Christ alongside his wife, Sanette. He enjoys spending time outdoors, baking, playing trombone and guitar. PastorGarritt@SchoeneckMoravian.org
Rev. Sanette (Francis) Fleming and her husband Rev. Garritt Fleming were both installed as co-pastors of Schoeneck Moravian Church in January 2018. Born in Jamaica, Rev. Sanette Fleming has been in ordained ministry since 2015. Prior to serving the Schoeneck Moravian Church, she served the Ebenezer Moravian congregation in Watertown, WI. Rev. Fleming also served several Korean congregations over the course of three years as their interim English pastor. In 2011, Rev. Fleming earned her undergraduate degrees in Pastoral Ministry, Bible Theology, and a Teaching Diploma in Biblical Evangelism from John Wesley University in High Point, NC, in addition to an Associates in Science for theater arts from the Borough of Manhattan Community College in New York City in 2009. Following her undergraduate training, Rev. Fleming obtained her Masters of Divinity Degree from Moravian Theological Seminary. In her spare time, Rev. Fleming enjoys sewing, jewelry making, painting, repurposing old furniture, gardening, empowering youth and young adults in Christ, women’s ministry, Christian apologetics, and Christian entrepreneurial networking. Ryan Morrow has been the Director of Music and Organist of Schoeneck Moravian Church since September of 2011. Ryan is a published composer, with both his organ music and choral music being performed in festivals, concerts, worship services and recitals throughout the United States. He studied organ with Dr. Shelly Moorman-Stahlman at Lebanon Valley College and with Dr. Steven Cooksey at the Shenandoah Conservatory of Music. He has degrees in both sacred music and music education. He teaches and composes in the Lehigh Valley where he lives with his wife and two sons.
Heather Scholtes has been the Administrative Assistant at Schoeneck since 2015. Heather has a Bachelor of Arts from Muhlenberg College, and has worked as an admin in various settings. In her spare time, she enjoys creative activities, especially fiber arts like knitting, spinning yarn, and weaving. Heather lives in the Slate Belt with her husband, daughter, and son.
